It still drives me insane, because your information is of NO help when it come to customize page 404.

How the h*** do I remove that da** sidebar….??

The images aren't appearing becasue the links are defunct. They'd help. I cannot find the Template dropdown you're referring to. I do know about removing the sidebar from specific defined pages, btw.
